Science Intent

At Thorntree Academy, we have three aims for our science curriculum: knowledge, concept and enquire. We will provide our pupils with relevant knowledge in all aspects of our science curriculum. Within these areas, they will be able to explore, in more depth, concepts such as life cycles, light and states of matter. We will endeavour to equip them with enough skills to be able to confidently enquire into the ‘why’ of their experience of the world around them and aspire to become future scientists.
